Cottage Creek was founded in 1964 on Hazeldean Stud ewes one stud ram.
Since 1985 stud rams have been sourced from Roseville Park Stud, and for the last ten years extensive A.I. programmes have been run with pleasing results.
The stud has been fortunate to have the professional services of Alan Clarke who has advised the sire selection, all classing both stud and commercial for the last thirty years.
The stud aims to breed large uncomplicated easy care sheep with soft skins.
Being bred on the Monaro, fertility is of paramount importance along with mothering ability.
